Chronlet is a macOS menu bar app for tracking time against projects and tasks.

Data You Enter

Chronlet stores the projects, tasks, notes, and time entries you create. This data is stored on your Mac and synced through your private iCloud account when iCloud is available.

Chronlet does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, third-party tracking, or third-party crash reporting.

iCloud Sync

Chronlet uses Apple CloudKit through SwiftData to sync your data between your own devices. Your data is stored in your private iCloud database. The developer does not operate a separate server for Chronlet data.

Exported Files

If you export CSV data, Chronlet writes the file only to the location you choose.

Deleting Data

You can delete time entries in Chronlet. Removing the app also removes local app container data from your Mac. iCloud-synced data may remain in your iCloud account according to Apple's iCloud data handling behavior.
